Display Content Date
Display the date that the content was created. === What Problem This Solves === A user doesn't know whether the content is still valid or can't assess the context of when it was written, e.g. for a restaurant review, government policy information. === When to Use This Pattern === Use this pattern when the date of the content might matter or the content may become invalidated over time. Among other topics, this applies to: reviews, opinions, event information, regulations and rules, news and anything concerning travel. === What's The Solution? === Display the date alongside the full content. Use a clearly identifiable date format, e.g. 12 January 2001, not 01/12/01. Consider adding the word "Created", "Posted", or "Published" to the date to clarify that the date isn't the date of the most recent comment or edit, etc. === Why Use This Pattern === Edit this. Describe the user and business benefits for this pattern, with links to evidence or additional research data if available. === References === #A list of interesting external links, if applicable === Examples Gallery === Edit this. Upload images of this pattern in use, if available. Otherwise, delete this section (and heading). === Categories === Use the categories button on the toolbar (last icon on top row) to insert one or more categories for this pattern.
